Why don’t you sell nail down wood floors?
Seventeen years ago, after many years of installing both types (nail down and glue down wood floors), we decided that for the west coast of Florida’s humid atmosphere, pre-finished, engineered wood floors were the best choice for our customers.
Who are the owners of International Wood Floors?
IWF is a family owned and operated business. It’s owners are Larry and Judy Campa who have lived in Sarasota year-round for many years. WITH OVER 35 YEARS OF INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE AND 23 YEARS AS A PREMIER WOOD FLOOR RETAILER, OUR INTEGRITY AND SUPERIOR QUALITY IS UNQUESTIONED.
What is an average cost of an installation?
Average cost – approx. $9 per square foot. Costs vary from a low of $6 to a high of $15 per square foot installed. All taxes are included. This does not include floor preparation such as patching to make the sub-floor level or special items like stair nosing and thresholds.
When can I come to your showroom?

Can I buy just wood and install it myself?
Yes, definitely. A significant part of our business is “Cash and Carry.” All of our products may be purchased in this manner from any of our manufacturers. Our prices are usually lower than our competitors - due to our large network of suppliers and the volume of business we do with them.
